Hi Band Parents,
It is hard to believe but next week starts the 2019 BAND CAMP! We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and is ready fora spectacular marching season. Below are a few reminders for you as we head into the busiest time of the year.
Band Camp Is A Summer Activity
This has been an extremely hot summer and August is usually hotter than July. Please, please, please make sure your band member takes the weather into account and stays hydrated. Every year, a few kids forget their water and pay a painful price.
White Band T-shirts
We will be selling white band t-shirts and band polos ONE DAY next week. More details will come out later in the week on the on the specific day and time after we work through volunteer availability.
The Band Boosters Needs Your Help
There are still a few committee chair positions open that we need some folks to fill, notably marching band uniforms, concert band uniforms, and car raffle. Please consider stepping up and taking on one of these roles so the organization can continue to provide the level of support to these kids that we have become so well known for. While all committee chair roles do take some work, none are overwhelming and there are always lots of folks willing to help. If you are interested in one of these roles, or one of the others still open, please reach out to Kevin Sexton at email@example.com.
Membership Is Now Open
The 2019-2020 Band Boosters Membership registration form is now available on the website. We simplified the levels this year and have new designs for much of the Membership gear. As always, you can send in your membership form and payment to the Boosters mailbox or your band member can drop it off in the white band box. We will also be taking registration forms in person at Parent Preview Night (which is the deadline for inclusion in the first order of membership gear).
