Come see what your students have been learning all summer long! It is a great time to take pictures! Feel free to arrive starting at 6pm, especially if you ordered ice cream sundaes.

Photo buttons: You can purchase a button and WEAR your kids’ smiling face all season! All students were photographed individually, and some chose to take a group photo with friends. In addition to helping you show your spirit and support, this is a great Boosters fundraiser. Buttons will be $5 each or 3 for $12 (cash or check only). We’ll see you there!

Spirit wear: NR hot/cold Trervis cups for $25 (cash or check only).

Sunday, Aug 25th

Students need to be at the High School by the time Mr. Vitale specified to them (usually 1:45-2: 00 pm). Enjoy the parade which goes from St. Alberts all the way back to the High School. Your student can either be picked up at the High School afterward or you can meet up with them somewhere in the square.

The marching band's annual fruit sale will be starting next month. This is a major fundraiser for the band and will be a huge success with everyone's participation. We will be offering navel oranges, grapefruit, tangelos, apples, pineapples, pears, and cheesecake.

Please make a note of the following:

Fruit Blitz Weekend- Save the Dates...September 7th & 8th – All students sell door to door in groups of two or three in our local neighborhoods.

All fruit orders and collected money are due on Wednesday, September 11. All orders received in by September 11th will be eligible for a drawing for a $50 Disney gift card.

A few changes from Previous Years

  • Fruit Group Leaders Only - will sign up by the elementary school they went to. They need to provide their name, text number, parent’s cell number, and their group-members names. Sign-up sheets are on the band doors.
  • Fruit Group Leaders Only – will pick up the sales packets after Wednesday night practice on September 4th.
     After The Weekend Blitz...additional order forms will be given to your student. These additional paper orders are for families and friends. The turn in date is October 11 in the white band mailbox. More info will come out later.

Uniform pants hemming

Good afternoon parents,


If your students marching band pants require hemming, Chris Norwalk will be in the High School Band room tomorrow, Aug. 15th at 5pm to hem them. Students must bring both pairs of pants. Alterations should be completed by the end of the 6-9pm practice session and students can pick them up at that time.


There will be a band booster meeting tomorrow, Aug 15th at 7pm in the media center/gym 3.  Please plan on attending and see what the boosters are doing this year. Membership is open.



Just a reminder there is practice this Saturday Aug 17th. Don't forget school starts on Monday as does regular after school hours practices. Please talk to your students for specific times or see the calendar on Mr. V.'s website.

Hello, Easy-Dinner-Loving-Families!

As you know, we are partnering with Augie's for our chicken dinner fundraiser. Since they really want to help us have a successful event, they are giving us extra time to give them our final dinner count. So, that means you can still place orders for chicken dinners as late as Monday! Send in your orders on Monday, enjoy easy-dinner-night on Wednesday! You will definitely thank yourself for being so smart!

Don't forget this is a quick, hot and tasty dinner for your band-o's during their session break on Wednesday!

Just a reminder that PRE-REGISTRATION for the Banners needs to be completed by MONDAY AUG 12TH!

It's all about the DETAILS! Please take a few minutes to fill out the the attached Pre-Registration form for "Your Kids in Action" who is the Banner company we are working with. The information is basic but needed such as First & Last name and correct spelling, instrument you play in Marching Band, If you are Royalette or Royalaire, if you hold a position on Band Council or as Field Commander etc.

Marching Band Uniform Pick Up, Munching For Music

Hello, Band Families!

Welcome to band camp! To make this time even more enjoyable, your Munching for Music committee has set up a couple of fun events for you. In case you’re new to band, Munching for Music is a fundraising committee that all centers around food. Here are two things you will definitely want to plan on doing

Augie’s Chicken Dinner: August 14th, from 4-7pm.

Ice Cream Social: August 23rd, starting at 6pm.

*Both of these are pre-paid events.*

We have included the order forms for both of these events. Either print them or pick them up in the band room. The completed order forms should then be put in the white band box, located just inside the band room doors. Please read all of the attached information so you can join us for yummy eats that support our award-winning marching band!

Exciting News - For the SENIOR CLASS OF 2020 Band Banner Photos!

Hello Seniors & Senior Band Families!

We are excited to announce that NEW this year the Senior Band Class of 2020 will be having their pictures taken for Senior Band Banners! These Banners will be hung in our football stadium for all to see & enjoy & will be gifted to the Band Seniors at the end of the season. There is no cost to you. We are working with the same company that does our Senior Athletic Banners & we are looking forward to a seamless process.

Band Banner Photos will be taken on our regular Picture Day which is scheduled for Tuesday, August 13th.
