Fruit Sale Order Are Due Friday(10.17.14)

This is just a reminder that this is the last week to get all of your fruit orders in! All fruit orders (with payment) are due in to the white band box by this Friday, October 17th. ASAP would be great - you don't have to wait until the last day! We are getting close to reaching our goal! Why not do a little last-minute brainstorming and figure out who else would love to support the band while enjoying some fresh, delicious Florida fruit! Please remember, you can also order fruit to donate to the food pantry.

Car Raffle Reminder

Dear Band Members and Band Boosters,

This is an early reminder that we only have until the end of October to sell our share of the Stadium Foundation Raffle Tickets.

I hope you have already been in touch with people about this great opportunity to win a brand new car. In case you would like to contact some folks via email, I have attached a form letter you can easily personalize to help get the word out. Please consider sending a note to family and friends this weekend and watch for their replies. Don't forget to put something that identifies you in the 'subject' field so they know it is safe to open the attachment. Or you can copy and paste the letter directly into the body of your email. (Paste without formatting.)

Kids, this is a great way to reach more people who want to support you! Just take a few minutes to edit the letter, make it more personal and send it out. It would be great to sell the winning ticket to someone you know!

Fruit Sale Reminder

The kids did a wonderful job during the Blitz Weekend for the FRUIT SALE. Thank you all for your hard work! Just as a reminder though, the FRUIT SALE is still continuing! Please keep asking friends, family members, neighbors, co-workers, etc. to support the marching band by purchasing some tasty, fresh, Florida fruit! You can encourage them to help us out by telling them that the fruit is picked, loaded on the truck and immediately driven up to us, so it's the freshest fruit they will probably have all season! Besides enjoying the yummy, juicy fruit, they will also get a warm feeling inside knowing they have helped the band out in a huge way! Please feel free to turn in any completed order forms at any time to the white box in the band room. Extra forms are available on the table next to the white box in the band room. All orders are due in by October 17th.

Market Day orders are due by this Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 11:00 pm at www.marketday.com. Pick up is Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Please note the time change for pick up!

Senior Band Night - Invitation and RSVP

Dinner will be served at 5:30 PM in Cafeteria II (by the band room)

Old Carolina Barbecue is catering:

  • Tossed Salad
  • Bakery and Beverages will be served

At the reception, all Seniors will receive Corsages and/or Boutonnieres and their Mother will receive a Rose.

7:00PM — Home Football Game

Two complimentary admissions to the football game will be granted per family. This will be based on the information provided on the RSVP Card. Please check in at the SOUTH END gate where the North Royalton High School Marching and enters and exits the field.

After PRE-GAME show, parents can meet with their Senior band member behind the band bleachers at the south end of the football field. Pictures will be taken and line up will begin.

During HALF-TIME of the football game, Seniors and their parents will be announced and recognized on the football field.

Senior Band Night Donation Requests

Hi Freshman Band Families,

On Friday, October 17, we will be honoring the senior band members. Dinner for them and their immediate family will be served at 5:30, right after practice and before the game. The rest of the band will enjoy pizza, bakery and beverages.

We are asking all Freshman Band Families to bring a store bought dessert with NO peanuts to this event. Please send your dessert with your band student and have them drop it off in Cafeteria 2 before they go to practice. Please put your last name on the dessert. No dessert should be dropped off in the band room. Someone will be in Cafeteria 2 before practice to take the dessert.

We are asking all Junior Band Families to bring beverages to this event.

LAST NAME - A - K — Please send 1 case of water with your band student and have them drop it off in Cafeteria 2 before they go to practice or you can drop it off at my place of business by the front door Monday thru Thursday 8:00am - 7:30pm.

LAST NAME - M - Z — Please send 2 or 3 — 2 liter bottles of soft drinks (Sprite, Mountain Dew or Pepsi). Please send in the soft drinks with your band student and have them drop it off in Cafeteria 2 before they go to practice or you can drop it off at my place of business by the front door Monday thru Thursday 8:00am - 7:30pm.

My business address is Balanced Fitness, 6418 Royalton Road directly BEHIND Key Bank.

Please put your last name on the case of water and/or the soft drinks so I know who dropped off the beverages.

No beverages should be dropped off in the band room. Someone will be in Cafeteria 2 before practice to accept your donation.
