We Need Your Help at States!

Dear Band Families,

The schedule for State performances has been posted on Mr. Vitale’s site. Now that you know when your band member will be performing, consider volunteering in one of our MANY openings.

We have timeslots with NO volunteers.  We need a few hours of your time…. Saturday morning concessions, Gym 2 Crew/Door, and PAC Crew/Door definitely need volunteers.

We still need OVER 40 VOLUNTEERS to run this event…. This is a FUNDRAISER for our band!!! Consider donating a few hours of your time to help… you WILL be able to see your band member perform…. Any time you can volunteer is appreciated!

District Contest Chaperone Needed

Dear Band Families,

Hello!

The bands will travel to Westlake High School next week for district competition.  We still need one person to help chaperone for the Symphonic Band on Friday evening. If you would like to ride the bus to and from the event with your child’s band please sign up here:

This link will take you to the entire chaperone sign-up.  Scroll down past all of the football season dates and you will find districts at the very bottom.  The times are listed by each band and they are the same as the itinerary that the kids received.

Help Get The Fruit Out!

Dear Band Families,

As you all know, we need some help getting all that tasty fresh fruit ready for our Band Students to deliver. Below is the sign-up genius link for fruit delivery volunteers.

We will need help on the following dates/times:

  • Wednesday, December 6th 3:30pm-9pm
  • Friday, December 8th 5:30pm-8:30pm
  • Saturday, December 9th 8:15am-1:30pm
  • Tuesday, December 12th 5:30pm-8:30pm

Again, we appreciate any and all help! In order to make sure the delivery is successful, we rely on the generosity and help from you all. Thank you very much!

Concessions Info For This Friday

Dear Band Families,

Regarding concessions for this Friday, Oct. 20, Senior Band night:

  1. please check if you are signed up, this was done in March and knowledge of Senior Night may not have been listed, and life changes
  2. We are in need of a couple more volunteers this week please consider meeting new members of this great band family and maybe new friends
  3. Please if for ANY reason your availability changes, especially this week if your a Senior family, please visit the Booster website "volunteer now" page then scroll down to concession and make necessary changes, to your availability, please. This ensures others can see where help is needed and there are enough volunteers to cover all positions.

A Message From Mr. Vitale

Dear Band Families

On behalf of the Band Boosters, I just wanted to remind parents that we still need volunteers for this weekend’s Air Show. We have slots that need to be filled for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. It is not hard work, there are plenty of breaks, and lunch is provided! You can even make an event of it with your student, because they can help as well (as long as they are over 15) and then you guys get to see the Air Show while you are helping out!

This is one of our biggest fundraisers for the Band - and if we are not able to fully staff it, then we run the risk of not being invited to run it in the future. This is a great opportunity that many sports and organizations would love to have, and we are very fortunate to have this fundraiser - so let’s work hard to make sure we can hold onto it! Raffle Fundraiser and Band Awards Night Help

Dear Band Families,

PLEASE HELP! We know this is a crazy time of year but we need a few more volunteers to help with the Raffle Fundraiser on Saturday and the Band Awards Banquet on Wednesday. We also need a few more beverage donations for the Awards Banquet. The only way these events can be successful is with your help. Please consider signing up below.

We need a few more volunteers to help at the 3 Spot this Saturday to sell tickets and check people in. You will NOT have to work the entire evening. Shifts are only for one hour. 2017 Band Awards Night

Dear Band Families,

We are on the homestretch to the end of the school year and the Band Awards Banquet is fast approaching. Download the invitation and RSVP form. (The RSVP is the second page of the document.) RSVP’s are due back on May 1.

Band Award Night RSVPs

RSVPs are requested ASAP so we can order the correct amount of food. If your RSVP is not received on time we cannot guarantee we will have enough food for your family. A check is needed to pay for everyone attending who is not a Senior Band Student. The cost is $11 per person. Seniors band members are free. Please put the RSVP and payment in an envelope and mark it, “Awards Banquet Night” and have your student drop it off in the white band box.

Even if you do not attend the dinner, everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the Band Awards program which starts at 7:00pm. It is a great way to spend an enjoyable evening with family and friends.

Volunteers
