Raffle Basket Wrap-Up

Dear Band Families,

It's time to put our Rhythm & Raffle baskets together and boy do we have some amazing items to fill them! We will be wrapping them all up on Friday, February 23rd starting at 9 am at Regina's house, 1209 Cloverberry Ct. in Broadview Hts. Please send an email if you are able to help out. The more hands we have, the faster it will go AND you will get a sneak peek at all the goodies! All donations must be in before our "wrap up" so please get them in ASAP. If you can not drop them off, please send an email to Regina and we will arrange for someone to pick up your donations. Thank you, as always, for your help in supporting our Band!

Rhythm & Raffle Volunteers, Performance Schedule and More

Dear Band Families,

Rhythm and Raffle is this year’s band raffle fundraiser which will take place on February 24, 2018 from 5:30-8:30pm.  We need volunteers for a successful event!  So please consider being a part of the fun and invite a friend to signup, also.

It is not too late to buy tickets! Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. Each ticket includes dinner and a chance to win $250. The dinner (pasta, chicken, salad, bread, dessert and beverage) will be served from 5:30-7:30pm. We also have student entertainment! The current performance schedule is as follows.

     5:40pm Winter Dance Team
     6:00pm MS Swingtime
     6:30pm HS Jazz Band II
     7:00pm HS Percussion Ensemble
     7:30pm HS Jazz Band I.

Please note that anyone who wishes to eat dinner at the event (including performers and volunteers) must purchase a ticket. You can download an order form here.

Munching For Music Weekend+

Dear Band Families,

You are reading that correctly! We are about to have an entire weekend+ to support Munching for Music! Our friends at Tom+Chee have generously offered to donate 15% of sales from our revenue back to our band! Even better, they are giving us a whole weekend+ to do it! Crazy! Three whole days to help raise funds for the band! You can tell this is an exciting event because of all of the exclamation marks in this paragraph!

Please plan on eating at Tom+Chee on February 10,11 &12, 2018, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Yes, we are suggesting to eat there each one of those days. There are plenty of choices to keep things from getting boring. They offer grilled cheese plus other melts, soups, salads, and sides. If you’re really feeling adventurous, try a filled, grilled donut! WHAT?! Yes, grilled donuts with various fillings! That alone is a great reason to eat there for an entire weekend!

Please print out the attached flyer, or pick up a copy from the band room, and take it with you to the restaurant. This will be the best way to ensure we get credit for your purchase. You can also show the flyer on your phone if you forget to take one.

Coming Soon...Rhythm and Raffle!

Dear Band Families,

As you know, our Rhythm and Raffle Fundraiser is just around the corner on Saturday, February 24th. It will be an evening full of family fun, fantastic music, and fabulous baskets. But did you know you can help make this event incredible with very little effort? The committee is hard at work looking for donations for those fabulous baskets and would love your help. No donation is too big or too small. Maybe you received a gift card for the holidays that you will never use. Or you’d like to advertise for your favorite salon with a gift certificate. Or let everyone know about that favorite bottle of wine you discovered. Or maybe you’d like to promote your business by becoming a sponsor at one of our four donor levels. All donors will be recognized in the program, in our local newspapers, and on the Band Booster website. Please click on 2018 Rhythm & Raffle Donations to see some of the items we are looking for. Fruit Sale Pick-Up

Dear Band Families,

The Fruit Season is finally coming to an end. We will be needing volunteers to help us with the delivery date and pick up dates. Any and all help is welcome, even if all you can manage is an hour...also the high schoolers are MORE than welcome to volunteer, too! Here are some important dates, please take note:

We have a fruit delivery date of Wednesday, December 6. We will be needing A LOT of volunteers that day from 3:30-9 pm at the annex. We will need people to help bag fruit and arrange it. The annex is located behind the Board of Education office and it is directly to the right of the football stadium. There are stairs that lead up to building from the middle school parking lot. There may also be parking at the Board of Education office.

Additionally, there are a couple of dates for fruit pick up. Due to the perishable nature of the cheesecake, it must be delivered ASAP to customers. These dates are as following:

Large order pick-ups will be on Friday, December 8th from 6-8 pm. We will also need volunteers that night from 5:30-8:30 pm to help hand out orders.

For all of those who did not have a large order, pick up will be Saturday, December 9th from 9 am to 1 pm. This is a big day and we will need A LOT of volunteers from 8:15-1:30 pm.

Finally, last chance pick up for fruit is the following Tuesday on the 12th from 6-9 pm.

If you cannot pick up any of those days, you must contact us and make another arrangement.

These will be the ONLY fruit and cheesecake pick up days. Any items not picked up after that time (and if alternate arrangements have not been made with us) will be donated to charity.

If you are aware of a fellow band family that does not check their email or Facebook, please inform them of the pick-up dates/times.

Introducing Rhythm And Raffle!

Dear Band Families,

Rhythm and Raffle is this year’s band fundraiser which will take place on February 24, 2018. We would love for you to be a part of this wonderful event!

The event will consist of dinner, raffle baskets, and musical entertainment…….but much more goes on behind the scenes to make this a success. Once we have our signups we will set a meeting date and start having fun creating a great event.

These are the five committees that will make this happen with a brief synopsis:

Dinner: Meal planning, donations, purchases, supplies

Set-up and Decoration: floor plan and decorating venue

Raffle Basket: donations, basket assembly and distribution

Ticket Sales: create, distribute and organize ticket sales.

Prints and Publication: Create brochure, create and distribute flyers, press releases and advertisements through local newspapers. Thank you letters after event.
