Fruit Sale Pick-Up

Dear Band Families,

The Fruit Season is finally coming to an end. We will be needing volunteers to help us with the delivery date and pick up dates. Any and all help is welcome, even if all you can manage is an hour...also the high schoolers are MORE than welcome to volunteer, too! Here are some important dates, please take note:

We have a fruit delivery date of Wednesday, December 6. We will be needing A LOT of volunteers that day from 3:30-9 pm at the annex. We will need people to help bag fruit and arrange it. The annex is located behind the Board of Education office and it is directly to the right of the football stadium. There are stairs that lead up to building from the middle school parking lot. There may also be parking at the Board of Education office.

Additionally, there are a couple of dates for fruit pick up. Due to the perishable nature of the cheesecake, it must be delivered ASAP to customers. These dates are as following:

Large order pick-ups will be on Friday, December 8th from 6-8 pm. We will also need volunteers that night from 5:30-8:30 pm to help hand out orders.

For all of those who did not have a large order, pick up will be Saturday, December 9th from 9 am to 1 pm. This is a big day and we will need A LOT of volunteers from 8:15-1:30 pm.

Finally, last chance pick up for fruit is the following Tuesday on the 12th from 6-9 pm.

If you cannot pick up any of those days, you must contact us and make another arrangement.

These will be the ONLY fruit and cheesecake pick up days. Any items not picked up after that time (and if alternate arrangements have not been made with us) will be donated to charity.

If you are aware of a fellow band family that does not check their email or Facebook, please inform them of the pick-up dates/times.

Introducing Rhythm And Raffle!

Dear Band Families,

Rhythm and Raffle is this year’s band fundraiser which will take place on February 24, 2018. We would love for you to be a part of this wonderful event!

The event will consist of dinner, raffle baskets, and musical entertainment…….but much more goes on behind the scenes to make this a success. Once we have our signups we will set a meeting date and start having fun creating a great event.

These are the five committees that will make this happen with a brief synopsis:

Dinner: Meal planning, donations, purchases, supplies

Set-up and Decoration: floor plan and decorating venue

Raffle Basket: donations, basket assembly and distribution

Ticket Sales: create, distribute and organize ticket sales.

Prints and Publication: Create brochure, create and distribute flyers, press releases and advertisements through local newspapers. Thank you letters after event.

Marching Band Concert Is Wednesday

Hello Band Families!

Wednesday, November 1st at 7pm, The Marching Band will be performing their ENTIRE musical season in Gym 1!

Please plan to come, bring your family and enjoy the music one final time… And do not forget to order your CD to enjoy the music for years to come…. The Boosters will be taking orders for both the State Performance DVD and the Marching Band Concert CD at the concert!

After the concert, there will be a dessert reception in Cafeteria 1!

Dear Band Families,

Band Night Drink Donations

We are asking the FRESHMAN Band Families to donate beverages for the Senior Band Night on Friday, October 20th. We would like to have the drinks by Wednesday, October 18th. Please drop the drinks off at one of the Hospitality moms' homes by October 18th.

Senior Band Night

Honoring all Senior Band Students and their Parents

Reception will be Friday, October 20, 2017 5:00 - 6:15PM2017 5:00 - 6:15PM

Dinner will be served at 5:15 PM in Cafeteria II (by the band room)

Augies Pizza and Catering will be used for the dinner.

Dinner includes:

  • Chicken Marsala
  • Broccoli, Cauliflower, Carrot Vegetable medley
  • Roasted Red Potato
  • Zitti Pasta with Marinara Sauce
  • Tossed Salad with House Italian Dressing
  • Rolls & Butter

All Seniors will receive Corsages or Boutonnieres and their parents will each receive a rose.

RSVP Card is due by October 12, 2017.  RSVP paper is attached to this email, on the Band Booster website OR in the band room!

6:40PM — Pre-Game Show
7:00PM — Home Football Game

  • Two complimentary admissions to the football game will be granted per family.  This will be based on the information provided on the RSVP Card.  Please check in at the SOUTH END gate where the North Royalton High School Marching Band enters and exits the field.
  • After PRE-GAME show, parents can meet with their Senior band member behind the band bleachers at the south end of the football field.  Pictures will be taken and line up will begin.

During HALF-TIME of the football game, Seniors and their parents will be announced and recognized on the football field.

Senior Band Night RSVP 2017

Thank You, Band Families

Dear Band Families,

I cannot thank you enough for your participation in the Cleveland National Airshow. Although our numbers were significantly down this year, those of you who volunteered did a fantastic job and for those of you who volunteered to work two days, well, there just are no words. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

After a rough start on Saturday, you all came through on Monday in a big way. Airshow officials have told me that Monday was the largest attended day in recent memory. It was estimated we had well over 5000 cars come through the gate on Monday. Fortunately, we had a whopping 94 volunteers that day allowing us to easily handle the volume. And even better, the lot was completely full by 2:30 PM and we were done!

The North Royalton High School Marching Band is a large organization and a big operation. Without the help of volunteers like you, our kids would not be able to enjoy the benefits of belonging to this great organization.

Please stay involved in any way you can and again, thank you for your efforts and contribution to the kids and the marching band!

Dear Band Families,

As a follow up to our email titled: ‘Today’s News’, the Boosters would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all the bandos, their families and friends that stepped up to help us out on Sunday and Monday! We had a record turnout of volunteers!

We hope that you had a fantastic time, watched the Air Show and were able to meet other band families in the process.

We Really Need Your Help This Weekend

Dear Band Families,

We are down to 61 openings for Air Show this weekend. Those 61 spots are worth over $2,000! Plus, our numbers for Sunday and Monday are low enough that we may not be invited back next year. Help us earn money for our band this year and keep the opportunity for future years. It is fun and easy work. You get to see the show for free, and lunch & parking are provided too. Make it a family day and volunteer with your high school kids!
