Clothing Drive Correction

The Band Boosters have recently learned that Easter Seals has transferred the part of their organization that does the ‘Fill The Truck' drives to Savers, a global thrift retailer. Savers is an organization that helps more than 120 nonprofit organizations by paying them for donated goods. Your donations are a donation to the North Royalton Band Boosters and are still tax deductible. We will have a charitable tax deduction form for you for tax purposes. We will receive funds based on the weight of what we collect as we have in the past. We will be collecting soft good items (clothing, shoes, purses, blankets, towels, table cloths, etc.) next to the Board of Education (6579 Royalton Road) on Friday (4-9pm), Saturday (10 – 8pm) and Sunday (12 – 6pm). Cleveland Airshow - We need your help

Dear Band Families,

Thank you to the many new band parents that signup up last night to volunteer at the Cleveland Air Show this year.

We are well on our way to filling our quota of volunteers, but we are not there yet – especially for Monday. We need a total of 85 people each of the three days at the airshow to fill our quota. We are paid per volunteer, so the more volunteers we have the more we can raise for the band. For those of you who are not aware, this is a marching band trip year where almost 300 Bandos spend a week at Disney and march in the parade there. It is an awesome experience.

The money raised at the air show is earmarked to offset the cost of the trip.

If your son or daughter is planning on participating in the Disney trip this year, volunteering a few hours of your time would be much-appreciated contribution toward this great experience.

Join Us For An Ice Cream Social

Dear Band Families,

Come enjoy a scoop of Honey Hut ice cream during the Parent Preview Night on Friday, August18th. Choose chocolate, vanilla or Honey Pecan ice cream. The performance will begin at 7:00, but you can come as early as 6:00 to get started on making your sundae with various toppings that will be available. Please fill out the order form here, make sure it gets into the white band box (located just inside the band room doors) and come to Parent Preview Night to enjoy ice cream and get your first glimpse of the band!

The season is almost over and we have two more events after Band A Rama! We are marching in the Memorial Day Parade and we offer an Ice Cream Social to the entire band during their class final.

Raffle Fundraiser and Band Awards Night Help

PLEASE HELP! We know this is a crazy time of year but we need a few more volunteers to help with the Raffle Fundraiser on Saturday and the Band Awards Banquet on Wednesday. We also need a few more beverage donations for the Awards Banquet. The only way these events can be successful is with your help. Please consider signing up below.

Let's Celebrate Saturday!

Our band program has had a great year! We had a fantastic marching band season and all four concert bands had wonderful performances at States last weekend. So let's celebrate this Saturday night at the Raffle Fundraiser at the 3 Spot from 6pm - 9pm! You can purchase tickets at the door. Don’t miss a night of fun!

Basket Raffle Preview Nights: For those of you who are not able to attend the basket raffle on Saturday but would like to participate in the raffle, NOW is your opportunity. We are hosting a Preview night Thursday and Friday this week from 5-8 at Anne Christensen’s home (12740 Pinebrook Dr; 330-304-2499). You will be able to purchase raffle tickets for the baskets so bring cash with you.

2017 Band Awards Night

Dear Band Families,

We are on the homestretch to the end of the school year and the Band Awards Banquet is fast approaching. Download the invitation and RSVP form. (The RSVP is the second page of the document.) RSVP’s are due back on May 1.

Band Award Night RSVPs

RSVPs are requested ASAP so we can order the correct amount of food. If your RSVP is not received on time we cannot guarantee we will have enough food for your family. A check is needed to pay for everyone attending who is not a Senior Band Student. The cost is $11 per person. Seniors band members are free. Please put the RSVP and payment in an envelope and mark it, “Awards Banquet Night” and have your student drop it off in the white band box.

Even if you do not attend the dinner, everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the Band Awards program which starts at 7:00pm. It is a great way to spend an enjoyable evening with family and friends.

Volunteers
