PARTICIPATING BANDS SPECTATOR INFORMATION

  • Tickets for the event are $6, $4 for students - and Parking is Free.  Seating is available on the home and visitor sides.  Please do not sit in areas designated for the performing bands. 

  • Both Concession stands will be available on the home and visitor sides.  Concessions will close temporarily during the North Royalton performance so our parents can watch their student’s performance.  It will reopen as soon as NR finishes. 
  • We will have programs for sale, 50/50 raffle tickets, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and tickets for our Annual Car Raffle to win a 2019 Chevy Cruze donated by Serpentini Chevrolet of Strongsville


PARKING

  • Handicap Parking is available at the North Royalton Board of Education Offices at 6579 Royalton Road, North Royalton, OH  44133. 
  • Extra parking has graciously been made available by the following:
    • North Royalton Baptist Church, 6616 Royalton Road, across the street from Serpentini Stadium.
    • North Royalton City Hall lot located at 14600 State Road, NR.  There is a walking path through Memorial Park that leads to the stadium.  
    • Wishing Well Enrichment Center, 14574 Ridge Road, across from North Royalton High School.  

Air Show Update - Please Read - WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Dear Band Families,

Thank you to the many new and veteran band parents who have signed up to help at the Cleveland Air Show this year.

While many people have signed up, we still need to fill all of the slots available. We need at least 85 volunteers on each day to fill our quota. We are paid per volunteer, so the more volunteers we have the more money we raise for the band. As one of our biggest fundraisers all year, we need to make all we can over the weekend.

Again, if you have already signed up, THANK YOU. If you haven’t, we need your help. Especially on Sunday (9/2) and Monday (9/3) we have several slots to fill. The only requirement for volunteers is that they are at least 14 years old, so if you can grab a friend, neighbor, or relative why not do it together to make it more fun? Plus, you get in to the Air Show for free!

2018 Ice Cream Social at Parent Preview Night

Hello Band Families!

This is a fundraiser that will take place with our Parent Preview on Friday, August 17th.  This is a pre-paid event and we are asking that all order forms be turned in by this Wednesday, August 8th. 

  • Please print off the form below, pick your flavor & have your student turn it into the white band box this week.
  • You need to order ice cream for your band student, even though they will not be able to eat until after their performance.
  • Also, you are not limited to one cup per person.  If you, or someone in your household has a hearty appetite, order more than one cup!  We don't judge!

Frosty Friday This Week August 3rd - Pricing & Details

Hello Band Families!

This week, August 3rd, we will have our first Frosty Friday!  The Kona Ice truck will be in the main parking lot during the band camp lunch break from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm.

Please see the attached forms for details about the ice cup prices, flavors and nutrition information.  The cup sizes are 12, 16, 20 and 22 ounces.

Once the kids are back to practice, family members and friends are welcome to come visit the truck too!  They will stay until about 1:30.  Kona Ice accepts cash, credit and debit cards.

Frosty Fridays at Band Camp with Kona Ice!

Hello Band Families!

We are excited to announce Munching for Music's New Fundraiser Frosty Fridays with Kona Ice! Kona Ice will be visiting Band Camp 2 Fridays in August. Please be sure your Bando brings some extra money if he/she would like a frosty cold treat to beat the heat during their break.

Air Show Information

We Need Your Help!

Dear Parents,

Our biggest fund raiser is the Air Show. We work in the parking lots and at the entrance gates Labor Day weekend rain or shine. We have a good time! The air show provides us with lunch, and we get free admission to the Air Show once our shift is over. For new parents, this is a way to spend time with your teen and meet other band families. Funds from this event are budgeted to the marching band contest show materials and equipment. Without the Air Show, we do not have a quality marching band contest show.

We are in need of a committee of four to five people to take over coordinating the air show. I understand this is last minute. Doug Payne will be the lead for the committee. Please make a decision to be part of this committee so we can make this event a success and fund the contest show.

Air Show Oops! 😉 Correction

Dear Parents,

We appreciate you all and your patience as we as your New Band Booster Board learn all the ropes. We had a bit of information get crisscrossed and we wanted to let you know the funds we raise from the Air Show are allocated to the Band Trip Fund i.e. the Disney Trip, not our contest show.

With that said, this is our largest fund raiser  We work in the parking lots and at the entrance gates Labor Day weekend rain or shine and we have a great time! We look forward to having you help volunteer as well as if you are willing to co-chair please let us know.
