Congratulations 2019-2020 Executive Board!

Hello Band Families!

I would like to Congratulate our returning as well as our new NRHS Executive Band Booster Board! (our new secretaries will be effective June 1, 2019) They are here to help and support our Band Students as well as our Band Directors. They will continue to help with fundraising and organizing volunteer efforts. All of the board members are excited about your continued participation in this great organization.

Save the Dates - It's Almost Time to Return Concert Uniforms!

Hello Band Families!

It's almost time for concert uniforms to be returned!

Returns will be at NRHS, Room 310 on:
Monday, May 13th, 6:30-8:00pm
Tuesday, May 14th, 6:30-8:00pm

TUXES - ONLY the jacket and pants are to be dry cleaned. NO Tux Shirts. Take the jacket and pants to ‘On the Spot’ Dry Cleaners (corner of Rt. 82 and Broadview Road behind Shell Station OR corner of Pleasant Valley and State Road). Just drop it off and pick it up. The Band Boosters take care of the cost. Return the cleaned tux with the bow tie, cummerbund and suit bag at one of the return dates.

DRESSES - wash the dress in cold water and line dry. Do NOT iron or put in dryer! Return the dress with the black velvet hanger at one of the return dates.

Congratulations on a Superior Rating!

Congratulations to our Freshmen, Concert, Symphonic and Wind Ensemble Bands on earning a Superior Rating at the OMEA District Adjudicated Event this past weekend!

We are so proud of all of you and all of your hard work.  We look forward to hearing all of you play at the State Adjudicated Event in the spring.

Marching Band Uniforms (NR Jacket and both pair of pants) need to be dry-cleaned before returning.

The Band Boosters has contracted with ‘On The Spot’ for dry-cleaning – two locations: Royalton Rd/Broadview Rd (behind the gas station) and Pleasant Valley Rd/State Rd (behind the gas station).

Raincoat, garment bag and collar guard (snap-in fabric on NR Jacket) should be washed in cold water and air dried.

Shakos (hats) should be cleaned.  Use a warm damp cloth or disinfectant wipe will work.  Clean inside and outside of shako.

Royalette/Royalaire – Don’t clean the gold jacket. Black leotard and contest costume should be hand washed and air dried.  The raincoat should be washed in cold water and air dried.

***** DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN THE DRYER *****

All parts of the uniform need to be returned at the same time. No returns a piece at a time.

A Superior Rating!

Hello Band Families!

Congratulations to the NRHS Band for earning a Superior Rating this past weekend at Copley!

We hope everyone enjoyed the performance as well as many of the other bands that performed and we look forward to seeing everyone at States!

A message from Mr. Vitale

Band Families,

As many of you heard, the high school will be closed tomorrow (9/5) because of the temperature.  After speaking with Mr. Osborne and the athletic director, we will still be rehearsing tomorrow evening, however, we will not begin until 7 PM.  This is to avoid sports/band practicing during a time period where the heat index will be the greatest. 

So yes, we will be rehearsing, however, the rehearsal will be 7-9 PM.

Change of Date for Uniform Pick Up for Athletes in Band

Hello Band Families!

There is a change of date to pick up your band students uniform, who is also in athletic's. We are changing the date to next Friday, August 10th at 4pm instead of this Friday. (this only pertains to those who were unable to make it earlier in the week & needed a different day)

Please make note of this change and we apologize for any inconvenience. If you need to make additional changes please contact Joel Young.

2018 Fall Program Ad Order Form

Hello Band Families!

Attached please find the order forms if you would like to put an Ad in the Fall Athletic Program for your Bando or your Business. Whether it is your Senior Bando in their last year or your Freshman Bando in their first year or anyone in between you can wish them the best of luck or congratulate them on a fantastic season! 

Please print off the forms and fill them out and get them in by the deadline date stated on the forms.
