Dear Band Families,
This is just a reminder that the last day to order Contest Hoodies or join Boosters at the Grand Staff Level is Wednesday, September 10. Because we order the exact number from the silk screener, late orders cannot be accepted and there will not be any extra for sale later. If you want a contest hoodie please make sure to order before September 10. The membership and contest hoodie order forms are attached if you still need one. If you have any questions, please contact Shirley Berish at 440-717-1532.
Welcome to another football season! We are in need of approximately 5 more people for each home game to help with selling tickets. It's a fun job and the commitment is only until right before halftime during home games.
Details below include a specific job description...
We meet at the Stadium entrance by the board office at 6:00. Sign in at the gate. You don’t have to pay to enter the game, so don’t buy a ticket. We have a table and chairs right inside that gate to the left. Selling takes place from 6:30 until shortly before the half time. We usually stop selling when the second quarter has 3 minutes left on the clock. You will be done in plenty of time to watch the band preform. If you have never done this before, don’t worry they are very easy to sell! We need a minimum of 10 people selling to do a good job!
If you have any questions please call me at 216-407-5625. Brenda Calovini is the co-chair for the raffle and she will also be there every game so please look for both of us!
This week’s sellers are:
- Amanda or Steve Kost
- Bruce or Dianne Difrancisco
- Dan or Nancy Kyle
- Brad or Emily Fraser
- Holli Milsap
- Michelle or Jason Grimes
We could really use at least 2 more sellers for the first game and 5 more for the other 4 home games, so if you are available please let me know!
Also, this week only...we are having a get together at the “3 Spot" starting at 4:30 and they are hoping to sell raffle tickets there. Think of this like a band booster pep rally!
Thank you, and see you Friday night!

The next Band Booster meeting is on Monday, September 29th at 7:00pm in the High School Community Room.
See you there!
Dear Band Families:
We need your help! We still have 30 spots to fill at the Cleveland Airshow (August 30-September 1). Most of the open spots are on Monday, 9/1, but we have a few on Saturday and Sunday as well. If we cannot fill these spots we will lose some of the fundraising money for this year and we could possibly lose this fundraiser for next year. Please make time in your schedule to fill these spots. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old or be an incoming freshman. Volunteers may be other family members or friends! If you can help, please contact Kathy Pishnery at 440-503-5457 or email@example.com.
For families that have already volunteered:
Thank you for your help!! Air show information and parking passes were sent home this week with your band student if you were unable to pick them up on Preview night or at the first Booster meeting - so be sure to look for them.

Dear Band Families,
Our first Band Booster meeting is next week. After our regular meeting there will be a meeting for new Band Booster Parents (all are welcome). Here is the information.
First Band Booster Meeting:
Monday, August 18, at 7pm in the High School Performing Arts Center
All parents are welcome! We encourage all parents to attend the monthly booster meetings. Please try to make plans to attend at least several monthly meetings each year. We realize it is difficult to commit but valuable information is discussed at these meetings. Normally the meetings are on Monday evenings, once a month at 7:00 pm.
Freshman Parents/New Parents Meeting:
Right after the Band Booster meeting in the High School Performing Arts Center
We are asking the parents of freshman and new members to please stay after the Booster meeting for a very special meeting to introduce you to the Booster organization and the Band program in general. Of course, all members are welcome to stay and participate! Sportswear and membership will be there along with many of the volunteer committee chairs to explain what we do. There will be a question and answer opportunity as well. We look forward to seeing you!
