Hello Band Families!

Get ready...Band Camp starts this week!

  • Monday, July 30th - Leadership Only starting at 9:30 am.
  • Tuesday, July 31st - Band practice starts, PLEASE check the band calendar you have received or you can find it online for your specific Sectional times for the rest of the week.

**Please do not to forget to have your Bando STAY HYDRATED and EAT before they come to camp. They are allowed to pack water etc. Also, sunscreen, sunglasses, and baseball hats are allowed and comfy tennis shoes **NO open toed shoes allowed. Please DO NOT FORGET to bring Instrument, music, and lyre.

A Few Important Things/Updated Parent Mentor List

Hi Band Parents,

Sorry if it seems like you are receiving a lot of emails from the Boosters, but there is so much information to communicate at the start of Marching Band season.

Help Wanted

It may take a village to raise a child, but it takes two cities to help a band.  As you know, the Band Boosters supports the band in many ways and the only way that can happen is if we get the support of all you wonderful parents to run the events. 

We know it can seem like a burden to volunteer, but trust us when we tell you it is worth it.  Not only do you get the satisfaction of knowing you are helping our bandos but you will get to meet other wonderful parents and even have a lot of fun.  So please pull out your calendars and then clink on this link which will take you to our Sign Up Genius to volunteer. 

If you already indicated during registration at which events you will help (every family is asked to fill at least four volunteer slots) then you should see your name already loaded into those events.  But don’t feel that you have to stop at four, you can volunteer 6, 8, even 20 times.  We won’t mind and you will have fun.  So please, again, click on this link and add your name to a few more slots.

Please note that we still have quite a few openings for the events at the beginning of the year, including Photo Buttons and the Air Show.  The Air Show is our biggest fundraiser and we must fill all the slots for all three days.  (The Air Show email parade is about to start unless we get those slots filled!)

Previously we shared a list of Parent Mentors for new band members (or old) to be able to reach out to if they have questions and their bando doesn’t seem to know what’s what.    We are happy to include an updated version out with our French Horn mentor now included!

Frosty Fridays at Band Camp with Kona Ice!

Hello Band Families!

We are excited to announce Munching for Music's New Fundraiser Frosty Fridays with Kona Ice! Kona Ice will be visiting Band Camp 2 Fridays in August. Please be sure your Bando brings some extra money if he/she would like a frosty cold treat to beat the heat during their break. 

Also please keep an eye open for the pre-sale order form coming your way for our Ice Cream Social following Parent Preview night.

2018 Fall Program Ad Order Form

Hello Band Families!

Attached please find the order forms if you would like to put an Ad in the Fall Athletic Program for your Bando or your Business. Whether it is your Senior Bando in their last year or your Freshman Bando in their first year or anyone in between you can wish them the best of luck or congratulate them on a fantastic season! 

Please print off the forms and fill them out and get them in by the deadline date stated on the forms.

Hello Band Families!

This is a reminder Band Camp is starting next week.

Monday July 30th - Leadership please check band calendar for times.
Tuesday July 31st - Band Sections report at their scheduled times. Please check band calendar for these times.

If you have not ordered your Band shoes at this point PLEASE take a moment and get those ordered through North Royalton Music.

Lastly, attached below please find the Parent Mentor form for you to print off and keep.  This is another helpful sheet if you are new to band or maybe just forgot and may have any questions that pertains to your Bandos individual instrument section.  Please feel free to contact any of the Parent Mentors on the list with your questions when needed.

Band Shirts & Booster Meeting!

Hello Band Families,

Just a quick reminder that our Band Booster meeting will be held this Thursday, July 19, 2018, at 7 pm at the North Royalton Public Library. 

After the meeting, we will have White Band T-shirts and Purple Polo's to sell. If you have not picked up shirts yet now is a great time. 

**Your Bando will need the Purple Polo to wear in the North Royalton Home Days Parade in August.
