Market Day Orders are Due Saturday

Hi Band Boosters,

Market Day orders are due by this Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11:00 pm at www.marketday.com. Pick up is Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm in Cafeteria #2.

If you spend at least $90 this month and enter the promo code DECBONUS during checkout you will receive a free 1 lb. Pork Tenderloin.

Also, this is month you will receive your free Frequent Buyer Salad Bowl Serving Set if you made two purchases of $40 or more between the September, October and/or November sales.

FYI....You can enter multiply promo codes on the same order.

Concert Uniform Pick-Up

The dates for Concert Uniform Pick-Up are:

  • Tuesday, December 2nd, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Wednesday, December 3rd, 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Pick-up location is in the OLD UNIFORM ROOM, where you picked up your marching uniform (upstairs over cafeteria 2). All pieces of your marching uniform must be returned before you can pick up your concert uniform.

Boys who need a tux shirt (mainly freshman) will be able to order them from Tuxedo Junction. There will be someone available both evenings to measure you and take your order. The cost of the shirts is $22.50. Shirts can also be ordered at Tuxedo Junction located in PatCatan's. Just mention that you are with NRHS.

Girls who are new to Wind Ensemble will need to purchase a pearl necklace and earrings from us. Cost is $10. They will be available for purchase when you pick up your uniform.

Band and Band Front Unifrom Turn In Reminder

Hi Band Families,

This is a reminder about Uniform Turn In.

All Uniforms will be turned in to our new uniform room, room 310. It is on the first floor, located in the hallway behind the community room.

Band Uniform Turn In Dates:

  • Friday, November 21, from 6pm to 8pm
  • Monday, November 24, from 6pm to 8pm.

When You turn in your band uniform you will need:

  1. Dry cleaned Uniform, including football pants, contest pants and jacket, in the plastic dry-cleaner bag with receipt attached.
  2. Clean and dry raincoat
  3. Clean and dry garment bag
  4. Clean hat (inside and out)
  5. Large plastic hanger the uniform came on when it was given out.

Band Front Uniform Turn In Date:

Monday, November 24, from 6pm to 8pm.

When you turn in your band front uniform you will need:

  1. Football uniform (machine wash the unitard and lay it flat to dry; do not wash or dry clean the gold jacket)
  2. Contest uniform (as is; do not wash or dry-clean)
  3. Clean and dry raincoat
  4. Clean and dry garment bag
  5. Hanger the raincoat came on

Band Booster Newsletter with Important Reminders & Updates

As another marching band season comes to an end, I would like to thank the Concessions Chairs - Monica Hrin, Darlene Kelly and Tammy Patrick, Hospitality Chair - Amanda Kost, Membership Chairs - Shirley Berish and Rima Chehade, Festival of Bands Chair – Beth Burdick, Visiting Band Chair - Kim Kozempa, 50/50 Chair - Elisa Race, Chaperone Chairs - Susanna Schwab and Lynn Marencik, Badge a Minute Chair - Nancy Chester, Uniform Chairs - Michelle Kelly, Vicky Turske and Anthony Amato, and Pit Crew Chiefs Bob Franko and Rich Hrin for all your time, dedication and commitment to our program and our kids! What a fantastic season it has been!

IMPORTANT REMINDERS & UPDATES:

Marching Band Uniform Turn In –

Turn in is this Friday (11/21) from 6pm to 8pm and Monday (11/24) 6pm to 8pm in the NEW UNIFORM ROOM, ROOM 310.

Marching Band Concert CDs and 25th Anniversary T-shirts -

Orders are due Friday (11/21). You can download the order forms from the homepage of the Booster website, northroyaltonbandboosters.com.

Band Booster Meeting –

Our next meeting is Monday, November 24, at 7pm in the High School Community Room. This is the last meeting until January.

Fruit Sale Update -

Right now we are on the schedule with Florida River Groves to have our fruit delivered the first week in December. We will not have a more accurate date until right around that time. Keep watching your email, the band website and Facebook for updates.

Holiday Concerts -

Our holiday concerts will be Sunday, Dec.14th at 2pm and 7pm and Monday, Dec. 15th at 7pm. The ticket order form can be found on Mr. Vitale’s website under Forms & PDFs. Make sure to order tickets for the correct concert. Different bands play at different concerts. For example the Freshmen/Concert band plays in both the concerts on Sunday, but not in the concert on Monday. Also, Remember to subtract the cost of 2 tickets if you joined Band Boosters at a level that included tickets. There is a line for that on the form.

Holiday Ornaments -

Holiday Ornaments will only be sold at the Holiday Concerts this year (December 14 and 15). They will be $10 each. See the attached flyer for a picture.

Raffle Fundraiser Event -

SAVE THE DATE! The Band Booster Raffle Fundraiser Event will be on Saturday, February 28, at the 3 Spot. More information will be coming soon.

States DVDs –

Unfortunately, BandVideos had a power outage during our performance at States. They are no longer taking orders for DVDs. If you ordered a DVD they are refunding the $30 and they will also be sending a DVD of the parts of the performance that they have. Kevin Brewer posted a video of the performance here 2014 North Royalton State Marching Band Competition. A Seasonal Celebration.

Dear Band Front Families,

Band Front Uniform Turn In is from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, November 24, in the new uniform room, room 310. Room 310 is located on the first floor, in the hallway behind the community room.

Please machine wash (cold water, gentle cycle) the black unitard and lay it flat to dry. Do not dry-clean or wash the gold jacket.

Please return your contest uniform as is. Do not wash or dry-clean clean it.

Machine wash your rain coat and garment bag in cold water, gentle cycle and let them hang dry before you return them.Do not put the rain coat or garment bag in the dryer. Make sure the raincoat is dry before uniform turn in night.

Band Uniform Turn In

Hello Band Families:

Well, another marching band season has come to an end. What a great year again! It is also time to turn in the marching band uniforms.

Uniforms will be turned in to our new uniform room, room 310. It is on the first floor, located in the hallway behind the community room.

UNIFORM TURN IN DATES:

  • Friday, November 21, from 6pm to 8pm
  • Monday, November 24, from 6pm to 8pm.

It would be appreciated if you can make every effort to return your uniform on these dates. However we understand there may be a few conflicts, just please contact us in advance to make other arrangements. Marching band uniforms must be DRY CLEANED. North Royalton Band Boosters will be paying for this cleaning ONLY IF you take your uniform to “ON THE SPOT DRY CLEANING” in Broadview Heights at the corner of Route 82 and Broadview Road, or in Parma at the corner of Pleasant Valley and State Roads. This would include the jacket, and both pairs of pants. Make sure you return the uniform in the plastic bag with the receipt attached. You will not be permitted to turn in your uniform unless it has been dry cleaned and you have the receipt. This is your responsibility.

Remove the collar guard and machine wash at home. Remember to replace this before returning your uniform.

Wash your rain coat and garment bag in cold water, gentle cycle and let them hang dry before you return them. Do not put the rain coat or garment bag in the dryer. Make sure the raincoat is dry before uniform turn in night.

Wipe down your hat, inside and out, with a damp cloth.

Market Day Pie Pickup

Band Parents,

Don't forget Market Day Pie pickup is this Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm in Cafe #2 at the high school.

We also have 8 extra pies for sale if anyone is interested. They are:

  • Pumpkin Pie - Qty 2
  • French Silk - Qty 2
  • Fruit Medley Deep Dish - Qty 2
